Peach Fest comes to San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO — Texas peach season is in full swing, and San Antonio is about to be peachy keen with an upcoming festival celebrating the famous Hill Country fruit.
Peach Fest will showcase Texas peaches in all their glory with a local vendor market on Saturday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Shops at La Cantera.
Vendors from nearby Fredericksburg — which is known for its peach orchards and wineries — will sell items like wine, jellies, jams, salsas, soaps, lotions and more. And for those wanting a taste of the natural fruit, peach growers from the Hill Country Fruit Council will set up shop to sell their prized fresh peaches by the pound.

The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau partnered with La Cantera to put the festival together.
According to the event page, visitors will experience “the best of Fredericksburg.”
Peach season in Texas usually runs from mid-May to mid-August. Fredericksburg, located in the Hill Country between San Antonio and Austin, is one of the largest peach producers in the state, with approximately 600 acres of peach trees, according to Visit Fredericksburg.
